If your videoask contains sensitive or confidential information, make sure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands. Restrict access to who can view and respond to it with a password.
By default, videoasks are available and public to anyone who has the link to them. However, if you want to restrict access to a videoask you've created, you can add a password to make it private.

Note: This feature is only available on paid plans.
Add password protection
From your videoask inbox, select the Share & Embed icon.
Toggle Protect videoask with a password to on.
Choose a password and type it into the password box.
Note: Your password must contain at least 8 characters. Click the icon of an eye to view/hide your password.
Click Save.
Now when you share your videoask with your audience, they'll have to type in the password you've set before they can view and interact with it.
Note: When embedding your videoask in an email, the password screen will be displayed when respondents click on the videoask to open it in their browser.
To remove the password and make your videoask public again, just toggle off Protect videoask with a password.
Check it out for yourself! Just enter the password you see in the screenshot above to gain access! 😉
Note: Currently, when you add a password to your videoask, the option to embed the videoask will not be shown. As a workaround for iframe embeds, you can copy the embed code before toggling the password option on. Then, when you embed your videoask, the password screen will display. (Workaround is only available for the iframe embed code.)
Disable password protection
From your videoask inbox, click the Share & Embed icon.
Toggle off Protect videoask with a password.
