If you want to stop receiving responses to your videoask, you can "close" or deactivate it at any time.
This feature can be particularly useful for job postings or event registrations when you want to schedule a close date in advance, or when you need to control the flow of responses on a day-by-day basis. By adjusting the status of your videoask, you can easily manage incoming responses and keep everything running smoothly. With this level of control, you can focus on what matters mostācollecting the responses you need.
ā ļø Important: When you close your videoask, it will still display wherever it has been embedded, but people will not be able to watch, interact with, or respond to it. To allow limited interaction, there is an alternate method to close your videoask.
Note: This feature is only available on paid plans.

Close your videoask
Sign in to your VideoAsk account and select the videoask you want to close. Click BuildĀ to open your videoask builder.
Click the Settings icon.
In the General tab enable Schedule a close date.
Click DateĀ and select the date when you want to close your videoask.
From the dropdown menu, select theĀ time you want to close your videoask.
Select your timezone from the dropdown menu.
If desired, customize the message that will display on the deactivation screen.
8. Click Done.Ā
That's it! Now, at the date and time you have selected your videoask will be deactivated:
ā ļø Important: Unless you reactivate your videoask after this date, it will remain closed indefinitely.
Reactivate your videoask
If you want to reactivate a videoask you've previously closed, it's super simple to do:
Click BuildĀ to open your videoask builder.
Click the Settings icon.
In the General tab disable Schedule a close date.
Click Done.
Now your videoask will be active again and users will be able to respond to it!
